Aural Assistance for Attempts at the Aurora

After showing up about three hours after its peak, we took some photos waiting to see the sky drastically change as in '03. We failed to realize that what we thought (to our naked eyes) was the Milky Way was actually the Aurora Borealis. Only after asking a nice lady photographing away at the sky what she saw did we realize that was the Aurora. It had been intense! (Before we started actually taking pictures of it...)
